Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for playing Grindhold, the game you play in Discord, and for adding it to a Discord server. Grindhold is made and run by AY Games ("we", "us"). Please read them: by adding Grindhold to a server or using any of its commands, you agree to them.

1. Discord's rules come first

Grindhold runs inside Discord, so you must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If these terms and Discord's ever disagree, Discord's win.

2. Who can play

You must meet Discord's minimum age where you live: 13 in most countries, and older in some. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to play.

3. Your account

Your progress belongs to your Discord account. Play with one account only, and don't share, sell or trade accounts. You're responsible for what's done with your account in the game.

4. Coins, items and everything else in the game

Coins, items, troops, buildings, villages, ground skins, decorations and anything else in Grindhold exist only in the game. They have no real-world value. We let you use them to play, but you don't own them, and they can't be sold, traded or exchanged for money or anything else outside the game.

To keep the game fun and fair, we may change how things work, rebalance prices and rewards, or change or remove anything in the game, and occasionally that may affect what you have.

5. Fair play

Don't:

• use bots, macros, scripts or anything else that plays for you;
• take advantage of bugs. If you find one, tell us with /report;
• use more than one account, for example to raid, rob or boost yourself;
• harass other players, or put anything abusive in a report;
• try to overload, disrupt, or break into the game or its servers.

6. What happens if you break the rules

If you break these terms, we may take back what you gained, reset your progress, or ban you from the game, depending on what happened. If you think we got it wrong, email us and we'll take another look.

7. Adding Grindhold to a server

If you add Grindhold to a server, you're confirming you're allowed to. The bot only answers commands in channels it can see, and it posts its answers there. You can remove it from your server at any time.

8. Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep about you and why. You can delete your data at any time with /delete-my-data.

9. Changes, and the end of the game

Grindhold is free, and we provide it as it is and as available. We work hard to keep it running and to keep your progress safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. We may change the game, pause it, or stop running it.

10. Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, or for losing anything in the game, such as progress, coins or items. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law doesn't let us limit, or takes away rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
